The Monkey Island

The Monkey Island documentary tells a story of love and protection for rescued monkeys who have won a second chance. After leaving Canada and spending years on a sailboat, Francine Roy found her refuge in the paradisiacal archipelago of Bocas del Toro, Panama. With a sustainable environment and the help of the local indigenous community, she takes care of primates of the species Howler, Capuchin and Geoffrey.
